Mixbus is a DAW that is modelled after the Harrison line of mixer consoles. Supposedly it has really outstanding EQ and the final product sounds "natural."

I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience with this or if its worth the $110 price tag ($80 american). There is no demo or anything so I am at a loss as to trying it out.

The blurb sounds ... dubious - Don't think I know of any DAW that colours the sound ?! For the price I'd just get Reaper and with the left over cash get a cracking EQ like this - http://www.tokyodawn.net/tdr-nova-ge/

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

Yeah I thought it was some marketing gimmick too but for mastering it sounds like paradise. I'm just frustrated that there is not a demo.
