Recommended Posts

Most Expensive £500 rechargeable battery pack has £22 worth of batteries inside:

Do any EKTers here use this? If I found this out I would be livid.

That's so shady. Nagra have a lot of respect when it comes to recorders, although there are some alternatives that work just as well and probably don't charge 500GBP for a rechargeable battery. The SoundDevices 788T works great and is almost half the price of the Nagra VI.

Nagra VI and SD 788T are similarly priced in the UK (around £6K!)

I have a couple of Sound Devices recorders, I use NP1 L-Ion batteries which are about £100 a pop.

Really? I looked both up on B&H and the Nagra is $9,900US and the 788T is $6,849US.
