So, the first two volumes of this are on archive.org, but where are 3 and 4? Does anyone have these backed up and able to share?

If it's a matter of needing a place to upload it, I can provide a subdomain at Milieu Music, at least temporarily.

Also, I've already PMed Giraffe but his last login here was late last year, so I figured starting a post couldn't hurt...

Yeah, that's another thing that sorely needs updating after all four P168s have been obtained. It's sort of insane to me how much music was involved in those endeavors and how little of it is around today.

btw, i've been listening to both 1 and 2 for the last weeks, found them in an old dvd, full of other ylc stuff, i'm really having a blast! :)

also searched for 3 and 4 and couldn't find them, but i really want them!

Yeah, I've been going through dozens of old backup drives and DVDs, coming up with nothing. It's hilarious how the internet can make you lazily think that everything on it will be around forever, but apparently naivete is a bitch.

It's interesting you mention Thisket, his EP was the reason I was initially trying to find the last two sets...

Thisket committed suicide in July 2013. Threw himself in front of a train. I'd been friends with the guy since he first started posting here, with his cool almost-ASCII website, I want to say in 2005? We traded music a lot, he sent me hand-decorated CDr versions of just about all of his music, even a cassette version of Trytry. He was an excellent photographer, he designed the cover for my Sophiesongs release at Custom Music Records. I have a couple prints of his hanging on my walls. He did two remixes for me, which I'm fairly certain are the only remixes he ever did, and he gave me access to loads of unreleased tracks, from which we compiled Thisket's 2006 Revue at my Recycled Plastics label. He even came to visit me in 2009 and I took him and his boyfriend at the time out for pizza.

He was a very talented guy with a lot of trouble in his life, namely from being gay and living in Louisiana, and having only just found out about his passing last month, I'm still just shocked about it. Less than a month after we released the second compilation of unreleased tracks at RP, he went offline. I didn't think much of it at the time, as he was a very eccentric dude going for a graduate's of fine arts in New York, and I'd seen lots of friends disappear from social media before. It wasn't until I really started digging a month ago, when I wanted to ask him about another unreleased ambient album he did, that I found out he died.

The thing that really bothers me is how it's only been three years since the man's passing, and already there's almost no trace of the magical music he made. As such, I've dug out everything in my archives, re-digitized it all, and I'm attempting to get in touch with someone in his family (perhaps his mother, as I understand she's an art teacher in Louisiana) to get their blessing for an archival Bandcamp page of everything he did, free to download. I think it's the very least I can do.

So, if any other users here had any contact with him and maybe received files, photos or music that is, please get in touch so we can compare notes.

Wow, that's absolutely devastating to hear. What a tragedy. Thanks for letting us know. I regret not having made contact to tell him how much that album meant over the years. I trust you will keep us posted as to the progress on the bandcamp archive?

I have P168v3 on Discs. I'll see what I can do. I have a dropbox but I don't know how much room I have. Very sad to hear of Thisket's passing. RIP.
