He really is one of the most unique producers IMO.

Splash is a truly masterful record, and the long version of Maze that was released on a 12" at 45 is a complex wide range piece.

I rinsed RIP to death, so I'm a littler less enchanted with that one,

he's really gifted, he can just explore sound and the results are usually pretty interesting.

Some of the tunes under different aliases are OK, that Actress sound though is just something special.

Ohh and that DJ Kicks kinda caught me off guard, but I always enjoy those,

I would definitally recommend that to everyone on this forum, it's a sick, quick, and jam packed mix.

Super dissonant and disorienting, Autechre is featured on there.

Sounds like old Gescom or BOC. That glacial synth loop reminds me of The Beach at Redpoint.

This track is definitely great, as is nearly everything else this dude's been a part of. Probably my favorite producer of the 2010s.

There's more, but this is probably 85% of what's out there. He also used to have a SC under the name "thenemosuite" where he'd post stuff for minutes at a time, then delete. An early version of "N.E.W" from R.I.P was on there. I don't have many of those SC tracks (who does?) but I've def got that early N.E.W track somewhere, if anyone feels like checking out.

There's something so simple and brilliant about it that makes it hard to compare to its influences, I get some of the gescom-y vibe (as six pointed out, esp. how the "glacial" synth line seems to float independently of the 4/4 structure), along with some basic channel chill, mixed in with some proper Luke Vibert mid-tempo acid house for good measure. Well done Grasshopper

would consider getting one, except I just got a lead on a TR-8 for $350, so I'm thinking I'll be going with that for rhythms

I like the cold sorta naked bare bones, icy crisp sound of that machinedrum, was wondering who else uses them for production

it really fit's perfectly with the actress ascetic though, very minimal and mechanical, it's a good sounding unit, just wish it was more affordable, wonder how it preforms, because it seems pretty dense, lot's of presets and sounds to choose from

the one on the right in video is monomachine, more synth based unit released around same time as machinedrum.
