second edition! 9 minutes, different riff, full on track. get swept away by the acid madness of the ARP - the original acid box!

Wooo wtf :laughing: that thud like beat is way too loud in the mix! Scared the living crap out of me when it came in!! Ha ha dude you gotta sort out the mix it sounds well messy! Thought it was okay I guess. Has quite a nice vibe but the beat being so loud just through me. Sounds a bit rushed to me as something fundamental like making sure the levels are sane is pretty important. Yeah overall quite nice vibe. By the way I'm curious do you actually have an ARP 2600 'cause the first track you posted sounded like a vst? Well if you do you should post a pic of it and your studio. Mmm 9 minutes of this is a bit much I'm feeling. Quite a chilled nice vibe but you need to go back and maybe give your tracks a bit more thought to carry a listener for 9 mins. Nice sounds though.

Yeah I noticed that the levels were fucked, they're okay inside ableton but I have fixed that hopefully in this version!

I maximised it and shit but the arp was too low compared to the rest of the mix for some weird reason in the final wav. it's not a very serious track no, and i would be amazed if you bother to listen through 9 minutes.. i just got the idea to make some acid with the frequency sliders of the arp and it's arpeggiator settings which are pretty cool (though complex at first if you're unused to counting semitones).

and lol, i wouldn't dream of owning an arp2600, i'm just fucking about with a crappy vst alright? you're bursting the bubble man :unhappy:

the arp track is practically clipping in the program compared to the other tracks, but still there's no difference.

i'm beginning to quite like this track.. it's easy to get into and just leave it running while you're browsing the net for a few minutes

get the feeling of flying among the clouds, much like Global Communications 8 07

I didn't really feel the beats, I'd like it better if you stayed with ambient on this one.

four on the floor really gets under my skin tho. take that kick off when the snare hits!!!!!!!!!

The pads are probably the best thing in this track - I like the acid riff, but you should just keep the cutoff low I think - don't try and build it up like a 303, coz it just don't sound like one. I didn't mind the beats really, the kick is nice and punchy, sure it's a simple pattern, but seems to work.
