Do you have an internal or external soundcard - If internal you can usually use the 'Stereo Mix' (or similarly named) input in Volume Mixer from the system tray. Then choose that as the input in whatever application you're recording.

If external, there's usually some sort of loop-back control in the audio interface driver/software to route audio in a similar way.
