Seeing/hearing more of what the Arturia MatrixBrute is capable of will be interesting. I've no intention or desire to actually own one, but it's a wild synth and everything I've heard from it has been fun/weird/strange.

Rumors are that Elektron are going to announce and demo some new capabilities for the Analog RYTM, so that should be cool since that's on my list for purchase this year (and given its price, basically the only thing else I plan on purchasing music-wise this year).

I'm pretty keen on the new TE stuff. The OP-Z looks amazing!

Superbooth won't be there this year since they made it its own thing in berlin because i guess frankfurt is a bankers town and is fairly boring and a PITA.. or so the complaints go that i've heard. and some other bit about MESSE not really being friendly to boutique exhibitors or some shit..

anyway. you've probably seen all the superbooth coverage around the net already https://www.superbooth.com/en/

so, there will not be much modular stuff there this year. .. or who knows.. there's plenty of modular to go around these days.

i'm curious about messe.. wondering what will turn up. nothing specific has me GASing though.

i heard the te booth is tiny and they're not even really showing the opz but more like just talking about how development is coming along and installing the beta op1 os on peepz that bring the ops but that's it.

so far it seems like a shitload of modular and people wetting themselves over that dave smith pioneer thing
