I am hereby bumping my own thread.

the arrangement is nice and with development but the melodies do not really move me. I would suggest to work on a moving melody without anything else first. try to alter the chords or use a different scale. you can also look at midi files of songs that move you and alternate these melodies. currently it sounds like you did the beat first and then just jammed "some melody" that was ok as soon as it is played with "idm synths" you like

second: even tho there is a development the changes could be more drastic in mood. it currently sounds very predictable as the mood stays pretty much the same all the time

on a positive note: I really like some of the synths and drums and how you try to recreate some of the trademark sounds.
