I like "Edible", "Inconsistency" and "Periods" the best.....I think "Inconsistency" is probably my favorite track - quite an Aphexy feel to it....Nice.

but still ... the EP/album whatever has a style... that is somewhat...err...special. but i really prefer studio quality and a lot things going, which this one has not.

but yeah, i'd go with the same tracks. if it was for a official release... i'd picked those... and send you home to do more to these and then we might have had a go.

but on the other hand... i felt like you like to do so all day. and perhaps you have a meaning i dont grab. so that is where i can offer you the personality space. i guess if you are interested in change... we can do a lot more ping-pong comments in the future and raise something more from your abilities, because i dont think this is really all - especially regardings your comments on others, mushroom.

I dunno, what's all bad about my style? If anything it's pretty straightforward pop-style stuff. I do simple tracks because I like them, not because I'm too productionally inept to do more complex stuff. And were my comments really that harsh?

Lol, not really, I just though they sounded a bit arrogant, especially telling me that mixing different styles is usually not a good idea, when you did exactly this on your ep....

don't care too much. as said - i feel like this is what you WANTED/WANT to do.

as mosca loves the repetition, you like this kind of sound. and i bet there are people that will give it a go - no doubt!

for the moment its just not the right timing to place you up on front. the next release is kcinsu what is pretty much the opposite of what you do. i always do some diversity and an overall dynamic from one to the next release, but at the moment a release of you would have been pretty much unfair to you and the surrounding features. i need to keep a focus to where we are at - still that will not keep me away from supporting artists. its still within the boundaries, though you mark the border on one side of what we do. i'd honestly go not beyond that.

that being said, it should not keep you away from doing what you do. i already said, i think you WANT to do it as such. thats not only being said by your covers. its still a bit unusual - and may not have the same amount of friends like some other works.

looks a lot like that. a friend of mine just pointed me into that discogs Retropublik folder, and i must honestly say.... i am pissed off.

the 000 section is NOT for official features! it is a support for directlinks, and a minor expose. really. we had 80000 hits in may - including spots on a lot of our artists. that has to be enough to focus on. the 000 is just a result of our system to put media into the website on a databased stuff. its the only way to do things quick and easy for everyone. you are on the discography of retropublik with your own artistname. that should be very good for you.

i was very unsure what to say about your topic " NEW RELEASE ON RETROPUBLIK " , but i felt i should be a bit quiet before storming you, because its just a dumb thread that will fall off somewhen - and its not totally wrong, because it is a release and well its on retropublik too, yeah. you got your spot - its ok. what is not ok is, to use the 000 section as official cat number. if you point on the reteu000 release of me .... i didnt knew about that one... i just recently found my own stuff up there. but now that it looks like you pushed your own releases in there:

I honestly don't know what was wrong with posting a topic about this album in a forum called "Your Latest Creations," though. I was never trying to pass this off as a feature. It's pretty obvious considering I started the topic and it's in YLC and not General Banter.

yep. and i wouldnt consider to speak publically if it has not gone to discogs.

if you sort by releasenumber on retropublik you have a number 000 in every region. this is where our artist may put stuff they just need a place for, but which is not considered to be a feature. i know a lot guys that dont have any webspace, but dont want to put it on googlepages, myspace or anywhat. they still may like to expose with their stuff.

another thing are abandonded releases from broken netlabels. i dont really like to republish them, so there's that minor space if you already are a retropublik artist.

we have quite a lot *old* works in there. for example crumbly was the band of chloroplastic. we have 4 albums of them in the 000 area, but still - the band is solved, and the works are quite a bit old. or like we provide the older works of earvalve. one that browse the discog by artist and like the stuff of earvalve has a way to get his earlier stuff too. but you clearly see its unfeatured.

thats not selfexplaining to a visitor - which is meant to be that way. but i ALWAYS introduce people releasing with us into that feature like "if you ever want a space *immediately* but we cant go with the release on front - you can put your release into that area"

looks like i didnt made that clear enough, that its not part of the "big window" though.

i think the quality control is whether Max invites you to release something on retropublik or not.
