Absolute masterpiece.

 

Expect no less from Dimlite.

 

And this reminds me of why I grew to love him. Did not really enjoy his work with Stones Throw.

Still listening to this, I put it on late when I have privacy to write and unwind.  The title track is indeed great

I agree, Prismic Tops was alright but Grimm Reality was dense.  It was no longer about exploring these cozy twisted corners of jazz, and was becoming this weird frustrated psych pop.  still mildly fascinating but felt unfocused.  I did like Abscission though (and managed to get a limited vinyl which I'm happy about).

 

I feel we haven't seen his best work, because he is brilliant, (less because I'm insatiable).
