sorry about it not being downloadable before. i fixed a minor sound issue. this track is still not completely finished but i had to get away from working on it for awhile. will revisit one day and properly finish it.

excellent track man... somehow you got all those sounds to work together perfectly. beautiful! you should upload a high bitrate version so we can swim in the sounds.

This is an excellent track, fieldy. Your synths are the perfect sound. The beats are thick and hit hard enough to create a wonderful contrast to the synths. I wish it were downloadable, but that's cool because I'm sure it's on your first release, right?

when the beat started i was really unsure a few moments.

as the track begins it turns out that it leads character to it. a little later i found myself a little thoughtful among that music. it makes me think sitting in a train (and yeah the beat underscores that a lot) and trees and cities passing by.

if you want some crit:

[*] cut 0:06-0:13

[*] make some break of the beats somewhere (~2:30?), so i have a trainstation to look out the window and check if i may sit back for another station.

if you want to do me a favor:

[*] go fieldrecording at a railwaystation or somewhere else and get some ambience into it, i want some reality innit!

[*] make it last some more 20 seconds without the beats too.

other than that... its already beautiful. i like the pitching and all that. makes me remind some things. i dig it! would love to have it.

thanks very much for the comments and listens. i like this track pretty much as is, minimal, but i think i might explore one more idea before i finish it up. i appreciate the thoughts and suggestions.

yeah me too, but that piano hit's you(the key bends in particular). i didn't really feel the last album, but this is nice. mello is good.

edit: there's a character from a film or a book or something called 'jason westmoreland'... i think it might be the 'windswept and interesting' alter-ego that adrian mole writes about in his attempts to be a novelist in the adrian mole diaries.

coiuldn't say for sure, i haven't read those books since i was about fourteen. i might check.

then again i might not.

i second loganfive on bringing the beat forward a tad. but at the same time i'm not longing for it either, i kinda like knowing the clumsy crusty beats are there but off in the background . . . so that works too

it starts out pretty good, but i'm not following some of the modulating chord changes.. it breaks away from the pretty little atmosphere in a way. especially when youre throwing out of sync notes at me

some hi pads would be cool

i like the beat! it works well throughout the track, shouldn't be changed imho

the track feels very nostalgic, maybe it's just me but it's a tiny bit too cold, should have some pretty ambience and maybe a tiny bit saturation
