spunktronics
Half sampled half instruments? Bit sort of Leaf label or Ninjatune vibe. Nice melodic and a bit lofi? t yst r
You could try anything Kieran Hebden. His (early) Four Tet albums aren't too dissimilar imo, but it's not the same thing. Also try this one from Fridge (band with Kieran); Loden is also something that comes to mind. BobDobalina
Early Caribou is great alright, I still rate Start Breaking My Heart even if it feels like the rest of the world has disavowed this side of his. That Daphni recent-ish release was alright although I had higher hopes for it. Definitely check out Living Exponentially by Tstewart (one of machinedrum's older aliases), it's probably the closest to what you're looking for I can think of. And not sure if you know them already, but Fila Brazillia cranked out a bunch of great albums in the late 90s that increasingly blurred the lines between sampling/production/instrumentation, Power Clown and a Touch of Cloth being two of my favorites.
