FSOL - Digitana synth in progress

So The Future Sound of London are working with some developers to create their first synth which will be called the Digitana. From the little information they've released, it will very loosely be based on the EMS Synthi A (of which Brian Dougans owns one of the very first made, and they released an album earlier entirely made from) but with a much more expanded range of sounds.

It's featured in this track apparently

Interesting. Name sounds like a hybrid (digital analog)

Synthi are expensive though.

I don't think it'll quite be EMS prices, don't worry.

This track was made entirely using the Digitana

So Digitana are actually the company. And the synths are...

Yes, I think the HALia is going to be the affordable one and the SX-1 a little bit more... niche.

Very interesting, although i would love to see the modulation patch matrix on it. I dare to say that might be a dealbreaker for me when the unit is too expensive (ie 1000+)

ok.

The SX-1 will be on display at Superbooth in Berlin in a couple of weeks.

I think they're aiming for late summer release for these.
