Roland is doing something 909 again

Seems like they have started to hype something 909 related for the September 9th date. It has an Aira badge on the promo but doesn't the TR-8 already have 909 emulation?

Probably a bunch of goofy EDM grooveboxes/ workstations in the vein of the miserable MC-series, only with 2000 more lumen, 100% less virtual analog and ten times more analog modelling.

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.

I hope it's a drum machine that is as small as the other devices in the boutique range simply because I want to see synth nerds crying about it being too small

What?  That's basically saying "I never understood techno."  909 is phat with distortion and unique enough to be recognized but generic enough to be used in everything.  Like Helvetica, it's tight but played out.
