TubularCorporation
Anyone messed with this? http://dissidents.com/audio.htm I found it looking for software that supports SMDI to transfer Akai S612 floppies to my PC via midi before they or the floppy drive die (if they haven't already), but I won't have a chance to try it for a while. Looks pretty interesting, though, and actually includes a blurb on the reviews page from the guy who gave me the s612 back in college to begin with! The script for converting audio to and from ASCII text for manipulating it in spreadsheets and text editors is about as unusual a feature as I've seen.
