These are two releases from last year, I hope it's ok posting them here now as I've just joined. Listening to some other stuff here I'm not sure how well these fit here, as there's not much beats, sound design or glitches going on, however I'm hoping you like the synths anyways. Ninnananne is 100% Yamaha M06, t2helaev is 100% Ableton Live and Simpler. :)

Listened to Ninnananne. I really like it! Good mellow ambient, usually 15 minute long songs outstay their welcome, but I'm not finding that here. I'm feeling some of the sunnier, brighter vibes of SAW II, which is a difficult sound to nail. Really like the rhodes-like sounds of a lot of the synths too.

Played & multitracked, or sequenced- what was your composition method?

Cheers!

Thanks for listening, glad you liked it!

Composition went basically like this: I used a Yamaha MO6 in Song mode where you have 16 instruments available, and then jammed using Live as a looper (and to record MIDI CCs). Later I edited the songs down to size and then recorded each track separately to apply compression and EQ.

Funny that you mention SAW II, as I've never consciously listened to it, doing it now and I do like this sort of sound.

I still listen to these quite often, super good for baths and other meditative activities. These tracks are just so perfect for what they are. I feel like t2helaev is music they would play in space stations at a barely audible level during the night to sooth people in their sleep.

I noticed from revisiting this thread that you have more stuff up on your bandcamp now. Excited to check that out.
