what US state has an exclave that is entirely surrounded by land by another US state (not by water in any way)

ie. the UP (an exclave) only touches wisconsin but can be reached by water from lower michigan. this is incorrect.

edit 2: i'm only aware of one *but* there could possibly be more but i doubt it

I did! I found Point Roberts:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Point_Roberts,_Washington

but that doesnt count because A: it's not surrounded by another US state (it borders Canada) and B: You can reach it by water from another point in Washington.

I was looking for an exclave where you are forced to enter into another state, by land, if you want to leave. As you can see New York maintains control of only the original footprint of ellis island, while new jersey controls the built-up artificial landfill of the island. Which completely surrounds the original footprint.

The EU is incompatible with the EU, so that's one. So the EU, then everything outside the EU and there might be a third, maybe it's people that like the imperial system of weights and measures.

In the US, there are only two days a year in which no professional sports games are played... What are those 2 days?

Based on my french clichés of America I'd go with 4th July and Thanksgiving ?

Nope, Thanksgiving traditionally has quite a few NFL games, and the 4th of July has MLB games...

In fact, neither day is a holiday and they're both very close to each other.
