I just picked up this beautiful Mondo re-issue of John Harrison's classic Creepshow soundtrack, done completely on a Prophet and piano:

the soundtracks to Tarkovsky's "Stalker" & "Solyaris" (the o.g doe) are quality electronic explorations, if you've seen the filems you might know the dislocating moods and sonic realms played throughout

if you like a bit Balkan hoo-hah, the soundtracks to Emir Kusturica's "Time of the Gypsies" & "Underground" are sublime, the former was also reintegrated into 1 0r 2 sections of Borat of all things......

also if you can find the soundtracks to various David Lynch filems, theres a composition called "BBQ Scene" from Inland Empire which is dark electronica at its v best

Mac Quayle's Mr. Robot OSTs are fantastic, as is Salisbury & Barrow's Annihilation and Ex Machina (get the 2CD version).

You are in a maze of twisty little passages, all alike.

@Rubin Farr yo dude can you rename this thread to ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK ??? as far as i can understand this thread is for music composed exclusively for the movie, like, a film score, just to distinguish it from this one...

https://forum.watmm.com/topic/95315-original-soundtracks-without-the-motion-pictures/
honestly i think this thread ^^^^ is misnamed cause it says without the motion picture but everyone posted film scores in it...
