never came across as boc ripoff artists to me. i liked their mu releases quite a bit. just recently made a late summer playlist for listening in the mountains with solar bears on it as i hadn't listened to it in quite a while. good luck with whatever i guess

I liked solar bears

that's a shame, they were really good. hopefully they do some new projects.

solar bears were good, definitely more to their sound than boc imitation, though it was an obvious influence. if anything they had a far more varied sound than boc do themselves. haven't heard their last album though, must check that out.
