so true... i was still in highschool

wow amazing, i was born two days before this was released, still remember going to the music store and buying the vinyl going home and listening to it and not really understanding what the shit i was listening to was, took me about 10 years to like this album and even now I'm not sure , some songs are chaotic exactly the edge i like but some song i feel like I'm in church and anything that reminds me of a church i hate cause I'm 100% atheist, stupidity makes my 16 year old advance intellect brain hurt

First heard it on one of those listening booth things in HMV. The release coincided at the time of my first experiences with drugs and sex, and with hindsight I couldn't think of a better soundtrack for those scary and exciting times. Quite good.

This is the only old album I always go back to as far as I remember (and years after, it still doesn't sound old). Thanks for this masterpiece Richard.

The feature is from Feb '14 but I never saw it. Seems pretty unusual for NME to include some genuinely worthy entries.
