Jamie Lidell - Building a Beginning

Fantastic album!

Just skimmed through this yesterday, his voice just keeps getting better! It's insane how good or a singer he is. Very Stevie Wonder inspired, happy stuff here. A good escape from all the gross hate you see everywhere.

I haven't been as into his stuff since Multiply but this sounds really good. 

hot damn, this is great stuff.. i picked up his multiply album when it came out and dug it at first, but it kinda fizzed out for me quickly.. this stuff is more fresh imo. would love to hear his voice featuring on some soulful house tracks btw

I think he found the right instrumental sound to complement his voice. It blends so well.

They missed out, it's been the first Lidell album I purchased in ages. 

Yeah, sounds like he's back in form. Not happy with the shop though. Only mp3 as digital option? Not interested in putting money into lossy files. :(

Weird, no love for Compass and the S/T one? I thought they were both excellent. I love how much he reinvents his sound between albums. Really keeps his stuff consistently fresh and interesting
