Bit gutted there are only two original tracks on there (assuming A1 and A2 are original tracks?) but I'm guessing he's kept some back for a Vol 2.

Also, are A4/B1/B2 remixes or something?

recently, Mark seems to have a habit of releasing a lot of acapella / instrumental versions.  although that's cool for completists, it seems like filler material to me.

I think Mark realizes alot of folk like his music for its composition and don't want vocals when they listen to him - those of us following him

cuz global communication et al...

(I know I'm one who has really appreciated his releasing inst. versions from his various 12" releases cuz i'm not the hugest "rap" fan

A1/A2 was the final Japanese only track on the Under the Sun LP, there

A3 was in the Shynola alternate video version:

B1 is a short blip I assume from the Installation he did for Red Bull in NYC

B2 I believe is a mashup of the two tracks from the Album

Still not got round to buying the original album - Would love a deluxe box set with all this stuff included (including presumably a Vol.2 ?)

Rough Trade named it one of its albums of the Year...

Mark spoke in an interview about three other tracks he sent to Thom Yorke that may see the light of day at some point... (though I'm not holding my breath)

Think I'll pass on this and wait hope for digitals so I can just grab the Japan bonus track. Like Rubin said, this seems like a very filler-oriented release. I like the original tracks with vocals so I'm not bothered about having the instrumentals, and the remixes seem to offer little variation over the album cuts.

It's a nice ep in its own right, but definitely nothing "must have". The beans track is the only one I like better than the original (for repeated listens). Already had the japan only... wondering if there will be a vol 2 - and what might be on it.
