Rashad Becker - Traditional Music of Notional Species Vol. II

This is very good.

I love part one, one of my favorite things of the decade.  There's all this insane level of detail, but it's not just showing off, it opens up this whole sort of grammar for sounds that feels super fresh.  I've been playing this new one a lot, think I still prefer the first one though that could just be because this covers similar territory and so doesn't have the same shock of the new.  But even still, there's lots of new wrinkles and I am super on board with it.

also heads up I read somewhere that the label that put out the new Eli Keszler album is putting out a Keszler / Becker collab sometime in 2017, that should be cool.
