Thank you for bumping this, I actually missed getting it that day I said I would! 

I went to buy both tracks (using the main "Buy Now" button), but when I downloaded it it says I only have "Party Situation" in my collection. Are you able to see on your end if I accidentally bought the single track instead of the "album"? 

Party Situation: interesting track. Great work with the vocals, they sit just right in the mix IMO. I'm always amazed at the quality of your mixing, I think it's one of your strengths for sure.

Are you Happy Now?: Same, vocals sit really nice in the mix. These two tracks seem decidedly different than most of the Killiniq stuff? What inspired the change? Edit: I mean, you've had vocals/vocal samples dotted around your Bendish tracks but this seems like a very focused deliberate effort/focus on the vocals. I really like it.

Are you happy now kind of sounds like the day after a party situation lol. I hear tinges of regret and angst in the vocals (tonal only, I tend to hear  vocals as an instrument the first few times I hear something vs the words themselves). 

I'd be all over more of this if it gets released.

This time they got mastered at a proper studio but honestly i get so used to my own mixes that i prefer the originals...i think the mastering guy no doubt adds proper levelling and consistency (especially with the bass) but compression and running through tubes etc defo changes things a lot...clarity is kind of what im after...and im a selfish egotistical twat so always want it my way even if its not as good ;)

we wanted to make some poppy happy vocal focussed tracks...Chris (the other half of Killiniq) is much better at actually writing trad song type things than me...hes got that melody harmony itch i do not...

the lyrics are all pretty stream of consciousness random stuff as well as an end of relationship vibe...but good call on the night and morning after
