Diabrotikos - Beach Party (Rough Mix)

Last track i'm working on, having troubles with transitions, ideas are flowing, but cohesion is hard to reach. Any criticism/infos about song writing and structures is welcomed :)

There's plenty of interesting things, but it seems like there's not enough of a low end, maybe partly because you're putting reverb on on everything, or maybe because of the way you're exporting the file or something.

Yep, my room is not acoustically treated, and i always fear there's too much bass in my mix. Any link to a good mixing tutorial ? (i'm reading "The Art of Mixing (a visual guide)" atm and watching Youtube tutorials)

I like your plucking synths. Also nice bass line. Did you play and record the different instruments yourself?

I think you can make something more dramatic towards the end though, to finish the track off. Like some crashes or FX while repeating half a bar or something.

I was thinking the same about the end, i'm working on it. Most of the parts are played on keyboard, then tweaked on the piano roll. Used in this track = Kontakt, Omnisphere (the plucked strings), Sakura (another layer of plucked strings), Arturia virtual synths (CS-80, Jupiter, Mini V), and TAL-ELEK7RO for the bass.

sounds promising but yeah, something is killing the low end. you may want to make sure everything under 100 is mono or only pass the kids and highs through to the reverb.
