New single from the upcoming collab album (? I think) by Jodey Kendrick & dgoHn, really excited for this one :music:

Yeah, cool and interesting track, although not exactly what I'd have expected from this particular collab. I take it you don't have any idea of the label etc.?

I vaguely recall seeing WeMe associated with this, but I'm not really sure. I do remember reading this will be an album some time ago on the Penryn Space Agency facebook, but again, not 100% sure.

(I definitely hope so, my gamelan braindance drumfunk playlist isn't extensive enough at the moment :))

Yeah I had my suspicions. Dunno if how intentional but you had left some clues there.Ya know by linking the D&J's discogs link to both Kendrick's and dgoHn's discogs pages (does that sentence even make any sense). So I played some Scherloch and connected the dots. Someone pat me on the back.

awesome! although that track didn't get me that excited. as a big fan of dgohn and jodey and as a massive gamelan nerd. sometimes the c-c-c-c-c-combo sometimes is less interesting that the separate things together

Thanks for the update BUNKUM. I've tried to watch the clone site now and then and been listening to the snippets there quite a few times. I hate to admit it but I'm not really feeling too excited about this. Would've loved to get another EDM volume instead tbh. Perhaps it's b/c I'm not really into gamelan nor a fan for crazy jazz drumming. Those bells in every other track doesn't really help, makes me feel like I was being stucked in some buddish zen limbo. Basically I'm feeling like lopez's post (apart from the gamelan love):

But will give this a chance, who knows if I'll fall in love with the full tracks. Jodey stuff has rarely dissappointed me. Maybe this is simply so different from what I believed the collab would sound like that it makes me confused or something. Do I have to wait those magical six months to get some digitals like it seems to be with Jodey relelases? At least I didn't spot them anywhere.
