fumi
I've long admired this artist even though his/her output has been scant over the years and lots of it is currently out of print. I love the early 80s midi era. Anyone else into this? Many works are hard to find now. fumi
And the opening sequence, I forget. This piece isn't strictly Wendy Carlos. It was written with Rachel Elkind. In addition, it uses the Dies Irae 'Day Of Wrath' - a gregorian chant. I know there are higher quality pieces on YouTube but they all suffer from really low volume. This one is from the Opening Credits from the June 2, 1985 ABC TV Broadcast of "The Shining". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obRb3S4yd60 Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide fumi's signature Hide all signatures Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/92551-wendy-carlos-appreciation-thread/#findComment-2522424 Share on other sites
fumi
This piece, I love. The section from 1min 30 secs onward is the truly haunting piece in A Clockwork Orange.
