Vytear - Kingtrips EP1

Not much info other than 12" coming from Occult Research by Vytear. Some strange mix of Breakcore and Glitch if it's anything like his Broken Teef. Hearing some VHS Head and Otto von Schirach there.

Also for those who are into vinyl, Erik from OR hinted on FB there will be more wax from the label in the future.

He uploaded it in full on BC before getting contacted by OR (I think?), and it was nothing like Broken Teef. More like something that could come straight out of Analogical Force's catalog: very well produced braindance with a slightly nervous edge. I loved it, too bad that it got removed from BC hehe.

I'll take your word for it, since I'm not actually familiar at all with Vytear. Thought to throw the link for broken teef because there wasn't any clips available for the 12" itself and also because OR had the link on their announcement.

^ Yeah, sounds totally different to broken teef just like ncrtx said. I like this more than that DSP glitch stuff.

How come some folk seem to have heard this already? At least I can't listen nor purchase the EP from bandcamp.

Coming out on September 4th, pre-orders are up now for the vinyl as well as for the digitals.

I hadn't heard this before and must say those two tracks available with the pre-orders sound sick! Of all those fast paced stuff released recently, this one really stands out with its immaculate melodies and great drum work. Almost Drukqsy. I'm impressed.

Sorry, used blatantly my own thread instead of the original one although this was created especially for the OR vinyl. Still, wouldn't mind if these two were merged....

I went ahead and ordered the record. I can't wait to hear the other seven tracks, especially Piano Dildos_M2.

Didn't know about the BC thing-- which is interesting. But I heard the two tracks and thought they sounded killer.

just heard this for the first time today.  Don't generally dig on breakcore but good god the sound design is choice!
