Given how much that synth sounds like a lot of other LFO, I doubt he sampled it.

There's a kind of sonar blip sound that Meat Beat Manifesto did on "Radio Babylon" that was sampled on all kinds of other records too.

Yes it's a sample from Track 4 by LFO in the DJ Producer track. My Grape Nut Beats is a remix of that track (renamed and remixed (again) for my album)
