Anyway. this weekend is the Hull City Of Culture Kirchin Weekender. As a result I have put some Kirchin in the #50pFriday section. There is more Kirchin a comin' this year, but this is a heap to be going on with - Charcoal Sketches, Quantum etc but also including a great compilation of Ivor And Basil Kirchin Band material I've called "The Biggest Little Band In The World" which is what they were known as when they performed. Some killer tunes lurking in that there album for sure. All Kirchin 50p madness can be found below.

There was a BBC3 special on him recently too.

Really want the vinyl copy of Quantum but it's so pricey now, kicking myself for not getting it upon release.

I know what you mean. Kirchin stuff is pretty rare.

Yeah, I bought the bloody CD back then. Would still see the LP in shops for a few years after that

Past me did redeem himself by getting this the following year though
