Jaffa
thanks again Your browser does not support the HTML5 audio tag soundtrack Its reduced in quality to meet gmail attachments, its only 112k but you get the gist of it, hopefully you find it worth the time to listen to it. Synched in time to the film which sadly I can't upload, any thoughts about it most welcome, thanks. Guest wasps
i don't know how you would critique such a piece without seeing the film as well, but byandlarge, i liked many the textures you made here. a diverse, brooding pallette and an almost angular aesthetic... as with most soundtracks taken from their natural habitat, the interaction betwixt sound + image can only be imagined, so the transitions often seemed abrupt. i presume though, that this was down to the syncing with the images. is my largely unhelpful twittering... edit: duff spelling! .) Jaffa
Thanks Wasps and Darren, yeah i wish i could upload the film but its like 400mb and on my uploadbandwidth i cant really do it. As Wasps said some of the mixing between the different elements is abit swift , works best up to 6 mins, and after 9, but it was a rush job putting it together so there is room for improvement. Comments welcomed, thanks again. lo-fi
This is fantastic Jaffa.....I listened to it on repeat most of the day yesterday. The amazing thing about you is that you can effortlessly create all different genres of music. This soundtrack is definitely a wonderful journey. The highlight, for me, is around the 6:13 mark.....that synth is really, really nice. Jaffa
No dsp. Go write another crappy little breakcore track and work off some of that acne ridden angst and frustration you carry around with you. From anyone else i could take it, from you ...no , because your so fucking obvious. Guest Chimp Logic
I've listened to this several times now over the last couple of days. Really an interesting journey. I enjoyed this very much and would be interested in seeing the visuals that go with this (although I have a pretty good imagination which worked just fine thus far!). Very cool work. Nice job. I wasn't too worried about the abrupt transitions every now and again only because I understand working with visual cues, etc. Thanks for sharing.
