well i guess not being from canada or montreal for that matter you wouldnt understand. you see im from the west island of montreal a prodominantly english speaking area, but because of quebec laws they place us in french immersion starting in grade 4. so no speaking english in school again till high school [grade 8].

i am an english person from quebec, and frankly i'm glad they taught us french...came in handy in france. granted the quebec french licks pouch compared to french french...but they were very appreciative that i was trying.
