Your Flesh + 2

I finally got started with a new project. I just basically try to replicate some of the nice sounds of early 90's jungle/hardcore/breakbeat without too much stress on being original or whatever. I just like that sort of stuff really much and it's interesting to try making something similary myself.

I'm a fan of this sound too. Your Flesh is gritty and makes me feel sick in a really good way. It might could use a bit of truncating, but I dig it. 

Jupiter Slam is a banger. I love it. 

Imitated doesn't grab me as much. I think I recognize the break from a slew of other tunes and that stab, while gelling with the song well, just isn't really my cup of tea. 

As far as capturing the early 90's sound, you've done well sir.

If 'your flesh' had some kind of lead, pad, chord I'd be into it.

Yeah, Jupiter Slam is definitely the winner. It could use some compression and EQing - unless that's part of your 90s sound ;)

I just slice the drum loops into bits and put them on Cubase's Groove Agent.
