Is your avatar picture from Possession? Looooove that movie

Yes it is

Love the new track! Glad her vocals and shades of her earlier work are back. Her last couple albums were ok but she really stands out from the pack with stuff like this.

aye, her Berlin-esque techno is cool but I just fell in love with Quarantine, such a weird and wonderful album. Jelly is lovely, stoked for this!

Stoked to watch OA II. The movement thing never bothered me, anyone familiar with Druidic studies will recognize the importance of movement to get to higher planes.

ok, maybe it was the muddy transcoded mp3 leak or just the wrong headspace for something so off kilter and over the place, but this shit is definitely the shit.

what I love about Laurel Halo is how sometimes it sounds like a big collage that is somehow moving forward in a very relaxed way

This is great, just great.  Gives me vibes of some Mouse on Mars albums like Idiology and Radical Connector... but still very true to the progression of her earlier styles.  Love the mis-dial-tones on Moontalk too.

Big love and respect to Halo and Hyperdub for pushing things forward, she has a beautiful voice, nice to hear more of it in this twisted pop.  Its certainly growing on me, not heard much like it.  Anyone has recommendations for similar super modern experimental pop artists?  Its kinda like Holly Herndon with a jazz influence and a less harsh sound palate

why do all the uk artists say big love

for the same reason all the american artists say "please daddy, shove a spiderman action figure up my poop shoot!"

it's just one of those things people say.
