Newish track, goes and goes. It's a little all over the place , but I still like the way it evolves. I Have a version that I cut down about a minute shorter , still working on the mix. Any feedback on the track would be awesome, thanks :)

Some really nice sounding voice samples, pads and synths here.

If anything stood out for me it was a bit too much high end on the snares and the kick, especially between the 1.00 - 3.00 min marks. It's either that or their volume is too high in the mix. Just a small adjustment.

Maybe transpose the high hat down in the last part a bit, found it a bit too bright.

Nice work on this one, quality sounds. The length is no problem and there are enough interesting parts.

Interesting.  The beat's a little hard to latch onto at the beginning (the first minute) with all that syncopation.  Whether that's a good or bad thing depends on what you're aiming for, of course.  It's got some neat detuning thing going on by the sound of it; the bass is strong, yet clean; I like the sparse use of the hats too.  I like how it sounds like it's about to segue into a chiptune at 2:45...  That's actually tempting me to make a track that fully devolves into a chiptune for a few bars, that'd be kinda fun...  Then a nice dirty bassline thing at the 3:30ish mark, cool...  I didn't even really notice the structure until that point, but then there's a breakdown at the bridge point, so that's pretty sensible/orthodox considering everything else!  I like the glitching of the lush vocals too, it reminds me of These Hopeful Machines, one of my favourite albums...  I'm too out of touch to know how much you're drawing on modern inspirations or trying something wholly original, but this is well crafted either way.  Personally I'd focus more on adding a catchy, memorable melody or two, as once it's over, I can't remember much of it... but it's nice while it's playing, even if it doesn't linger on in my mind...  Just some idle observations on a first listen, anyway, take it all with a pinch of salt.  Summary: I like it!

Thanks for all the feedback. I agree with you that there isn't really something that sticks with you or a hook that is memorable. I showed it to a couple friends and they said they exact same thing . The song kinda just washes over you, If i am feeling inspired I may go back and do a re write or stick with my momentum and just move on to a new song. I've never heard of "These Hopeful Machines".

I'll have to take a listen. Thanks for taking the time for all feedback::)
