Kelly Lee Owens - (self-titled)

Anyone else listen to this yet? Really good, reminds of Laurel Halo and early Grimes (i.e. pre-Art Angels)...has that nice balance between more accessible poppy stuff and more experimental techno/electronic production.

Yeah it's one of those albums that kind of bubbled up from my spotify recommendations. I still rely on WATMM and that app for most of my new finds. After I listened to I looked it up and it seems pretty well-received critically.

yeah, been listening to this for the last two weeks, lucid and keep walking got their hooks into me, some of the tracks are dry as fuck (evolution is just ugh..), but it's pretty nice overall.

Yeah this is v good, been in my rotation for a couple weeks. Agreed that some tracks are far better than others but the high points are insanely high. I like that she tries out a lot of different styles. 8 is probably my favorite

She has learned well from Daniel Avery. She has spun his influence into her own style. Pretty good stuff.

One of my favorite albums this year so far.
