Goto80 presents a 3.5" floppy disk of Commodore 64 music & videos

Goto80 aka Anders Carlsson is a lo-fi artist and researcher who has been called “the most prolific chiptune artist in the world”. Since his first steps on the demoscene in 1992 he has developed a unique mix of 8-bit pop, beats and craft.

The file on the 3.5” floppy disk is a 170 kilobyte Commodore 64 disk image that can be loaded into VICE, a program that runs on Windows, Linux or Mac, which runs programs intended for old 8-bit Commodore computers.

Half of the tracks are generative remixes and sound different each time they're played. The other half come with synchronized PETSCII-visuals.

Bah, he should've gone the whole hog and actually bunged it on a 5¼'' C64 formatted floppy

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

He did one on a C64 cart,

and a 12" cut to look like a 5" floppy

That's wild - love it. I'm sure I've got some Goto80 stuff but I can't remember where I got them from!
