M.E.S.H production?

Recommended Posts

Hey Guys and Gals

I'm Hoping someone here could help me with figuring out some of the production on this song?

Most interested In how he might be layering his kicks, hits pretty hard. Or whether it's just from a sample pack maybe?

Also how is he achieving that fluid like roll to the drums? Very fluid and organic.

Think it might just be a four to the floor loop but it's ran through a sampler with the the loop/repeat rate continually automated (when it goes slow it makes that tell-tale timestretch sound of a sampler)

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

>take drum loop

>automate pitch

>resample

>timestrech

>throw on beatrepeat

>automate everything

>resample

>throw on some kind of fx plugin

>flick through the presets while resampling

>resample

>layer with previous sound without fx plugin

>resample

>limit the shit out of it

voila, now you have an incoherent pile of garbage that sounds kinda decent at some points
