Jaffa
'protected memories' was nice, familiar loafeye elements, and that killer flute type lead that pops up so often my favourite was 'fundamental haze' from the off, lovely chords and those notes playing off them, really works, I get the temptation to do a rendition of this one, add more to it, i dont know how you'd feel about that lol, oh yeah love that descending slide that slinks in later on. 'deadeye in the water' was good too, i liked its nervy haunted panicky claustrophobia . good pad used on fadein/fadeout, you should incorporate that more in tracks and if not tell me what it is so i can lol Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide Jaffa's signature Hide all signatures https://thejaffakid1.bandcamp.com/ Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/9351-loafeye-3-new-tracks/#findComment-190346 Share on other sites
Guest Promo
Yeah am feeling the first tune. Its weird your tracks seem to always have that like hazzy hippy 70s vibe about them. Yeah I like this track quite a bit the vibe is very strong dude. For some bizarre reason your tracks always remind me of Weather Report 70s lushness. Yeah very similar soundwise to a lot of your other shit but I really liked 'protected memories'. I do wonder whether you could have had like a transition or something. Nice vibe on the 2nd tune Lofi mate. Seems like you've hit the 'sweet spot' with these two numbers so far. I think I'm gonna want to downloads of these tracks man. Yeah the vibe again is very 70s to me. I guess its the electronics you're using. Perhaps a bit on the long side the 2nd track but I expect I'll get used to it. Whats your set up again? Last track reminds me a fuck load of Tangerine Dream to start with. Aha here comes those Lo-fi sounds. I do wonder how you make your sounds. Sounds like you're using some Mellowtron samples or something. Yeah all three tracks were pretty cool listening experience but I know with your shit that you have to give it time to 'brew'. Peace. Guest 1884
when the bassline kicks in on 'protected memories' its another one of those awesome loafeye moments for me. great track. and like i said before, the other two are great too. do you listen to much jazzz, loafeye? there's a certain feel to many of your tunes, the melodic structures maybe, what is it? i think i like 'protected' the best of the 3..all wonderful as always. Guest Chimp Logic
I just really enjoy your music so these were very nice. I do not have any crits. Each has its own unique personality, and as some have pointed out, your 'lo-fi' touch on things is excellent. Nice work as usual. And as Mrs. Jynx pointed out, more please! Thanks for sharing.
