Claude Speeed - Other Infinities

Mention of this additional material (I assume from the same sessions that were responsible for the album) has popped up on a Planet Mu newsletter. I just spoke with the artist on Twitter and there may be as many as fifteen new tracks.

No release date yet but I guess it's pretty soon.

Sorry, in my excitement, I assumed it was the whole album. Just pre orders. One track is streaming.

Just listened to this and now it's a belated addition to my faves of 2017. Liked it more than Infinity Ultra

I prefer Infinity Ultra more, but this is an excellent companion piece to the album. I like Mu's recent strategy of EPs to follow or precede album releases, and this is one of the most substantial yet. 15 tracks, and all of it great stuff.

Although I do not have the ability to play them, I did buy the tape. Shall have to sort myself out a deck, see if I can steal one from my hoarder dad.

I scooped up a fair haul because how can you say no for $5 on anything Mu? "Infinity Ultra" let me down a bit so I skipped this one and that was a mistake. It's not just the discount talking--this is a better record. I think I read somewhere that Claude gets erections from distortion and fair play to preferences but the noise cut into my enjoyment of "Infinity Ultra". This one is tighter and lighter. 

I jumped back to "Infinity Ultra" just to make sure I wasn't fibbing and, yeah, same appraisal but "Fifth Fortress" is fucking amazing. Damn what a choon. Redeems the whole bit.
