a tape from a few weeks ago

I just did. This is really good. Im really into this sort of synth noise especially if its pulled off right. I could go for something EVEN more musical though if thats within your frame of possibility as an artist. Thanks for the song! Did you do a lot of tape manipulation?

yeah it will get a bit more musical, i put down these patterns relatively fast just to test out the program i was writing (the program is only for sending MIDI data to the hardware, not generating the sounds). will be adding percussion too.

it was recorded onto a 4 track, then i put the tape into a regular cassette deck and played it back at half the speed. dumped that to the computer (ended up being 16 minutes), then edited it down to 4.5 minutes or so.
