Uh.... weird prog breakbeat something

It took a while and I kind of went all over. Any feedback welcome.

quality knob twiddling with some interesting breaks, melodies sound very old school, almost like 80s rock ha, not entirely up my alley melodywise but still a good listen. love the bongo drums that start at around haft of the track. all in all a lovely melange of sounds

I listened to a lot of power metal in college. heh...

I like this tune, kind of has some 70s or 80s space rock thing going on.

There are a few things that bother me in that mix: during the first half the drums kind of feel a bit too "artificial" and jarring (but in the second half they feel totally fine), and the bass riff in the second half maybe stands out too much. I would also change the second half of the repeating bass riff so it has more rhythmic motion in it (maybe even just looping the first half only would be enough), because right now the second half of the riff is kind of empty and does not keep up to the perceived tempo of the other stuff.

On third listen the hats sound kind of too loud as well.

All in all it's an interesting track and there are many cool elements there playing together.
