Time for a timely bump, MFM just announced a follow up to this release, Garrett - Private Life 2.

F Y I its an instrumental project of Dam Funk.

And I have to echo the above recommendation, this album is really special.  I keep coming back and falling for its vibe.  Proper healing music for me (I have to admit, i put it on once when i was positively hung over and it worked some kind of magic on my mood)

Private Life 1 and 2 are both great, but my preference is for the melodies on 1.  The longest track, Angel Reflections 1 is simply sublime, future classic status imo.  Private Life 2 has a bit more jam session feel, but if you've seen Dam Funk live, youd know he's the real deal when it comes to living and playing the funk.
