Recorded in Berlin and Umbria, Hesaitix sees Janus resident and PAN staple M.E.S.H. firmly engaged in a kind of sonic worldbuilding, a place where the unconscious and the alien intersect.

Sounds good. The FACT article makes me not want to listen to it though — like all idm inspired by AFX is worthless.

yeah I had some issues with that write up, this is some really great stuff though. search reveal and coercer are a ton of fun to blast out loud.

This is a solid album again from MESH. The beats, when they arrive, are outstanding. Already prefer this over Piteous Gate, there's a flow to these tracks that make the album a good start to finish listen.

was just making this thread! Really like how M.E.S.H. manages to sample analogue instruments in music as alien as his without making them sound out of place.

Yeah the proof is in the pudding, M.E.S.H. is a solid producer. Write-ups that are very basic and rudimentary descriptions are essentially fluff at this point. Instant previews have essentially made those needless hyperbolic rants in many cases. FACT and Boomkat are prime examples.
