So this is the first physical release I've bought in a long fkn time. tbh can't even remember the last one.

It's only available as 16 CD set from Frozen Reeds

had it sitting on my desk for a few weeks, and finally got around to order a USB CD drive for ripping last night, because who has a CD player these days & I wanted it on the phone and now it's in my cloud and I can listen anywhere without wires.

So what is this.

It is proto-elseq! but like 3 times as long, not 5 virtual discs but 16 actual ones...

sound-wise, can't really say yet but apparently this is what it was made on and it sounds like it tbh..

a fkn huge labyrinth of haunted soundscapes... other than that cannot judge it yet, haven't listened to this even once yet but it's one of my fav++ releases this year for its sheer scope alone.

Frozen Reeds puts out incredible music.

I want to hear this but I'm not going to look in any of the shadier areas at least until it's sold out everywhere, because I would like to actually have it, the packaging looks great from the pictures I've seen. And I absolutely love the Jaap Vink album that came out this year, from what I understand this is in similar territory. It's so expensive though, it's hard to drop that much cash just on one thing, even if it is massive. Forced Exposure still has copies last time I checked, though they are at low stock level. There was small repress done recently, I don't know who's all getting it but there should still be a small window to grab a copy at different spots.
