The undisputed champion

This guy is the best. Nominated his videos for most idm a year or two ago.

Also, if you're into paying for tutorial videos, there's this: https://dataline.bandcamp.com/album/octatrack-mk2-live-resampling-tutorial-video

Maybe Elektron isn't paying Cenk enough, so he's selling 8 minute tutorial videos on Bandcamp? And apparently dozens of people have bought this, I'm so confused by the world right now. Maybe Elektron fanboys really do just have way too much money?

Jexus definitely deserves most IDM nomination at the least.

lol, I actually paid for this tutorial when it first came out - I think it was about $7? Worth the cost of a cheeseburger + fries for sure. I learned a couple workflow tricks but I seem to have forgotten them so I need to go re-watch it.

It's just so weird to me that he's selling it. Obviously people are willing to pay, which is crazy in my mind. That's just a whole other level beyond Patreon/whatever. Just a strange confluence of factors makes it weird in my mind I guess. I'm probably the weird one.

whoa

Yeah that's pretty fun. That pedal is probably damned expensive, but it sounds fucking nice.

Also, that Peak video does sound very nice in parts, but something about it just never REALLY impresses me. It's certainly a really capable instrument though.

i love the absurd, so synth demos like this always managed to tickle my funny bone:

i've thought about making a spoof video making fun of the worst aspects of synth demo videos, but it lost steam somewhere...

i've been holding onto this MC-303 that I really want to go up in value. What's the chance of that happening over the next 100 years?

definitely more of a performance than a demo.. Cenk (+Heat) makes Roland boutiques sound really good.

You can buy the tutorial for this on Bandcamp though! Give Cenk some cash. ;)

Let's be honest here: I'm pretty sure you could run anything through a Heat, Drive, and Octatrack in the hands of Cenk, and it'd sound good.

I know I've posted this at least once already but it bears reposting.

EDIT: Retrosound put up a Programmer 24 demo last week, too:
