i got me this album in the bleepstore a few days ago cause every tune is great! not much of a big house/dance fan and never heard anything by this dude but this is so awesome, check it out yo goys, good vibes

wow, this is really good, what about the rest of his discography ? remember hearing his first (massively hyped) album and was like "ok, meh" but again that was 10 years ago ?

this is a solid release. nicolas jaar has always been good. has haters and gets a lot of hype. check out nymphs.

I labelled his other albums as a bit pretentious, but  revisited them after hearing the new release. He has a lot of nice soundscapes and beats, but very often his tracks are "disturbed" by sub par singing, and other quirky elements. (Check out "No" from Sirens, and imagine a possible techno remix). As mentioned, Nymphs is probably the best place to start.

I liked this track a lot, but the rest I can take or leave.

Some interesting stuff on the album, regardless.
