Everyone should watch Grave of the Fireflies at least once

Grave of the Fireflies (1988) & The Tale of the Princess Kaguya (2013) are both amazing movies. 

Only Yesterday (1991) & My Neighbors the Yamadas (1999) are also very enjoyable. 

He was also the producer for Laputa Castle in the Sky (1986) & Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (1984). 

Isao Takahata was a true animation master. Rest in Peace. 

Yes quite sad - and fully agree with Josh, Grave of the Fireflies is a must watch.

I will watch that, thanks for the recommendation.

TBH, all of the movies mentioned in MaartenVC's post are worth watching, but Grave of the Fireflies is very powerful.
