re: mandelbulbs, there is the occasional stuff, like an improvement behind the scenes over regular-ass fractal art is I think they get really crazy with formulas/shitloads of trig functions? I dunno. But sometimes it starts to resemble maybe stuff like that thumbnail. Like yes it's 3d fractals but the default shape is so freaking boring, part of some excitement of them is they go crazy with the formula/equation sometimes
