FABRICLIVE 100 has been compiled by Kode9 and Burial.

The tracklist will be made known on the day of release - 28th September 2018.
Both CD and digital formats available in our store are comprised of the mixed tracks, and when played in sequence form the complete continuous mix.

FABRICLIVE 100 is also available in vinyl format and showcases the full unmixed tracks across 4 plates. Click here for more info and to order FABRICLIVE 100 on vinyl.

"The mix reaches into obscure corners & a disorienting range of tempos across its 37 tracks. Feat. artists from Africa, China, S America, Japan, Europe, US, the mix draws from gqom, juke & footwork to trance, jungle & grime, & wealth of material that defies categorisation"

this will probably be more kode9 than it is burial

never heard of fabric live but this sounds intriguing, what are the most interesting ones on there?

I was gonna say Shackleton but it's not the live series

The Steffi one (fabriclive94) is a cracking mix.

...so this is just a curated series of mixes, for various genres or whatever? I'm guessing everyone's hyped 'cause the artists may include unreleased tunes too right?

  Quote

'Live' in the series' titles does not refer to sets recorded live.

:cisfor:

i never understood pressing commercial mixes as physical releases.  i can see the appeal of unreleased tracks, mixes from artists who dont normally dj (as in this case), or an expected level of quality.  but then releasing it as a 4lp

Seconded Shackleton. I also enjoy Pangaea's, Calibre's, Four Tet's.

And yeah I'm hoping for some unreleased stuff as well. At least one of the long sought after Burial's dubs would be a treat.

Either way I'm excited, both have great taste and influences.

Yeah I think they've only pressed a handful of them to vinyl. I imagine it's also difficult getting the licensing to release the full uncut tracks. That's why I'm hopeful for some unreleased gems from these two on there.

nice. Kode9 will (should) probably handle most of the mixing duties.

#50 by dBridge and Instra:mental is still my favourite mix ever.

Steffi is Fabric94, not fabriclive.... but yes, it is excellent.

Surgeon, Doc Martin, Shackleton, all great in the fabric series.  Really enjoyed the recent Sasha effort too.

Kode 9 + Burial in the mix for Mary Anne Hobbes.

*edit* this starts as a pretty fun old school hardcore mix before moving into world music rhythms and (yep) Jlin footwork
